What happens when you casually read the well-written directions Bonnie writes for clue three of Celtic Solstice?
Now you may ask what's wrong with these cute little 2" squares? Well they should have been nice long 2" strips!
Much better, although I was able to use those 2" squares to make cute little half square triangles.
After actually reading the directions I cut correctly and ended up with a finished pinwheel, but don't look too closely as those center points don't quite match up--LOL.
Thankfully I still have plenty of orange and yellow strips to cut and sew and surely at least a few of those center points will match.
There is still plenty of time to join Bonnie's Celtic Solstice mystery. Why don't you join us?
Cheers,
Debi
That's what I did with my grays! I'm hoping there will be a need for 2-inch gray pieces later in this quilt.
ReplyDeleteYour pinwheel looks good!
ReplyDeleteI've got a few bits I've cut that I'm hoping will find a place later, too.
I hate it when that happens, but it looks like you recovered well.
